St Margaret's Church

Catwick Lane Long Riston Hull

The beautiful parish church of St. Margaret, Long Riston - with origins back to the thirteenth century - is dedicated to St. Margaret of Antioch. It is listed at Grade II* and has a varied collection of stained glass over three centuries; the latest addition marking the Millennium.

The church is set back from the main village at the end of a tree-lined track. Being set back, it is in peaceful, arcadian surroundings and is a landmark from the main road a few miles away.

There is a good road to the churchyard gate with ample safe parking.

We are proud to be associated with our local village school, Riston Church of England Primary Academy. School services and events in church are always lively occasions.

Our services attract people of all ages. Children are encouraged to attend. The atmosphere is relaxed but we take the dignity of worship seriously.

We serve refreshments after our services. We are always pleased to welcome new visitors.
